One of the biggest decisions the happy couple have to make is where on earth to hold the wedding reception, so here are our top four wedding venues you HAVE to see.

Warwick castle

Nestled in the county of Warwickshire, Warwick Castle is a magnificent venue for your wedding, especially if you want a guaranteed grand feel to your big day. The castle boasts that through history the Earls of Warwick have entertained lavishly at the venue, enjoying both the royal state rooms and the breathtaking grounds surrounding the castle. Now, the castle plays hosts to many a wedding, offering everything from intimate breakfasts to gloriously spectacular wedding receptions.

Just looking at the castle itself, its easy to see what appeals to so many couples. What better location for the ultimate fairytale wedding? The castle is also licensed to hold wedding ceremonies, so for some couples it is the ideal venue for the whole thing. And let’s face it, you won’t find a more regal place to say ‘I do’, will you?

Another bonus to choose Warwick castle as your wedding venue has to be the wonderful Medieval Wedding Banquet on offer. Guests are transported back to  the 15th Century (1471 to be exact!) with the history of the castle seeping through proceedings, and an almost electric atmosphere. The castle even offers a unique ‘proposals package’- providing you with the ultimate backdrop for popping the question and champagne to celebrate your engagement.
